About Jen the Vet
Dr Jen Hennessey
Since graduating from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005, Jen the Vet has been dedicated to providing customized, compassionate veterinary care with special focus on emergency medicine as well as rehabilitation therapy. Dr Jen is passionate about helping animals and improving their quality of life; believing in care that encompasses the whole family's experience when seeking veterinary care. Dr Jen advocates as well for animal welfare beyond clinical practice and was one of the original founding partners for the Harris County Animal Cruelty Taskforce in Texas. She poses with Ms Marvel above who is one of the very special animal cruelty case victims she helped the Taskforce officers save by donating emergency + surgical care and support.

Jen's Story
As an emergency hospital owner, Jen the Vet has been providing compassionate and comprehensive veterinary care to pets and their families for over 10 years. In 2024, Jen's veterinary care leaves Texas for the artic thrills of Alaska.
Jen's Philosophy
Dr. Jen believes that every pet and pet parent deserve a caring and compassionate care experience with her philosophy of caring for "the hearts at both ends of the leash."
